Resources
These are some resources I found useful or look useful, mainly for ESAT revision, but many of you will be in the middle of your A-Levels also, so at the bottom I have included some helpful A-Level resources that helped me achieve A*A*A*.
TMUA questions are great to use for Math 2 revision, they are made to be completed within 3 minutes rather than 90 seconds, so keep that in mind but still aim to do them as fast as you can.
Where I'm linking past papers, I will try to link websites which also have solutions easily available.
ESAT
- NSAA/ENGAA - NSAA/ENGAA papers are a great place to start, although they are quite a bit simpler than the current ESAT. These exams use some of the same questions per year, so it may not be worth repeating those questions.
- TMUA - TMUA Papers, great for Maths 2. Only do paper 1.
- Tyler Tutoring - This website has great TMUA worksheets and tips on every topic for TMUA Paper 1. She has also made some TMUA Papers that you should use after going through the official papers.
- JZMaths TMUA - Even more TMUA Papers, these ones are harder and longer than official ones, but still good practice. JZ also makes good videos on topics.
- ECAA - ECAA past papers. Papers 2020/2021 re-use questions from NSAA/ENGAA, so they are less useful. Papers 2016-2019 section B is most useful for Maths 2 practice. Section A (problem solving) is less useful, but some questions from A are similar to Maths 1.
- PAT - The old Oxford Phys/Eng test. Generally the first 10-12 questions are multiple choice math/phys which are the most useful. The physics is more advanced than the ESAT, but still worth using.
A-Levels
These resources will be mainly for Maths, FM, Physics, Comp Sci.
- Danieljsmith - FM and TMUA questions.
- More will be added soon
(If I have linked a website of yours you would like removed from this list, contact me and I will remove it.)
